An iconic Paraboot model, the Barth is the boat

shoe par excellence. These hand-sewn shoes were

originally designed in the 1970s when the French

Navy called on the brand to equip submariners. The

key element of the shoe is the leather lace, which

is tanned differently from the upper and can be

tightened as the shoe’s leather stretches.
